ORC 50

The ORC 50 (formerly known as the TS5) is a 50-foot (15.23m) high-performance catamaran designed for offshore racing and fast cruising. Built in France by Marsaudon Composites, it is engineered for sailors who demand blistering speed, responsive handling, and enough living space for extended coastal or offshore passages.

This vessel perfectly complements our multihull focus at Saint Martin Sailing Club, offering a larger, offshore-capable platform that scales up the exhilarating performance found in our Diam 24 and F18 fleets.

  • Exceptional Speed: Designed with a focus on weight saving, the ORC 50 is one of the fastest livable multihulls on the water. With its lightweight infusion-built hulls, it accelerates rapidly and can easily sustain double-digit speeds, capable of hitting peaks over 30 knots in the right conditions.
  • Offshore Capability: With reverse bows, high freeboard, and a powerful sail plan, it is designed to smoothly cut through ocean chop. It features carbon daggerboards that allow it to point incredibly high and minimize leeway when beating upwind.
  • Minimalist Performance: Inside, the ORC 50 favors performance over heavy luxury. The interior is spartan, bright, and wide, keeping the overall displacement light to maintain its massive power-to-weight ratio.
  • Tactical Helm: The steering stations sit far aft and outboard, use direct drive carbon tillers giving drivers an uninterrupted view of the sails and an incredibly responsive feel that multihull racers love.
